Physical and Chemical Properties | Gray-white powder, darkened after storage. The pure product (free amine) has a melting point of 20-22 °c and a boiling point of 238.5 °c. Very soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents; Soluble in hot water and evaporation with water vapor. Its hydrochloride is colorless crystal, sublimation at 80 deg C, decomposition at 247-249 deg C. Coupled with phenol as and AS-D to a bright red. |
